Welcome to the brave new world of Attytood!

Welcome to the brave new world of Attytood!

You made it!

And so did I, apparently.

As promised, the future of Attytood is now! Today, we officially move away from our old blogging format (Moveable Type for you blog geeks) and into the format now used by all of the blogs (Clickability).

I'm not going to sugarcoat this. There's going to be a lot of problems the next few days (and I don't just mean the massive home run that Carlos Delgado hit as I was typing that sentence). Some of you may still be ending up at the old site, for example. You need to be here. If you have any problems with the new site -- and you will -- email me or the site administrators immediately.

The biggest change you'll notice, of course, is that -- as warned -- you now need to register to post comments. It's short-term pain for long-term gain, because this will make it easier to prevent abuse. And that, I noted before, will probably mean fewer comments, but more intelligent ones.

Don't plan on any more posts today. Instead, use this as a day to try out the new system. And good luck, and hang in there. Attytood needs you now more than ever.

We encourage respectful comments but reserve the right to delete anything that doesn't contribute to an engaging dialogue.
