Virgil, quick come see, there goes Clifton P. Lee!

Sorry for the lack of blog-o-worthy material so far this week, but got tied up with a long story on a subject about which I know nothing (and still do even after turning in the article, which is pretty scary :-) ) So you can find things to talk about yourselves -- I mean, it's not like a judge threw out the health care plan or anything....
Or just listen to this song:

Looks like Bush's tax cuts were progressive after all. Look at table 6, percent of fed income tax paid by each group. The top earners burden went up, not down, under the Bush rates. And the burden paid by the bottom 50% decreased. http://www.taxfoundation.org/news/show/250.html RG
"If there's a sound and reasoned argument for why the government can force you to buy health insurance, I'd like to hear it." Its out there RG, you just have to look for it. You can also find lots of analysis of Hudsons incorrect analysis of the Commerce clause, even the right is worried because his judgement was so lame... Les Ismore- @TPS " one of the best defensive RFs in the history of the game (if not the best)." Am I just basking in the glow of Cliff Lee or have you gotten smarter in the last 24 hours????
@ocjones - Wow! You have a quarter century more of mostly bad baseball under your belt but I envy anybody who got to see Whitey, Robby, and Andy Seminick play in the 50's. Growing up my dad made them sound like Greek gods.

Comment removed.- re: HCR decision. The judge ruled against a part of HCR that is really all that matters. The administration is going to have to appeal to SCOTUS and SCOTUS is going to make a ruling. The circuit courts are just an opening act - the headline act is still the Supremes. bird11

Bird11--I saw some good with some bad, certainly. But I loved it all, and still do, and even if some of those old Greek gods were more godlike than others they were still heroic in my mind. ocjones
