Three days with no computer, did I miss anything? What?!

At least the Phillies played like they intend to serve out their term as WFCs, sweeping the hapless Mets despite a partial hangover.

Quitters never prosper - unless they're heavily subsidized by the hapless rubes in the marginalized minority. The Conservative Industrial Complex's vast network is already fleecing their marks on behalf of a partial term governor of a state with a population of 626,000 and the former mayor of a city of 9700. Expect a lot of spin about how she's not really quitting, how abandoning her post shows her steadfast resolve to the country from which her husband wanted to secede, and how someone they insist was qualified to be Vice-President of the United States really is more than just 2008's pale imitation of Roseanne Connor.

Oh yea, "Plugs" Biben is a mensa candidate too. It also seems to me someone else abandoned their post-Bambam. And "plugs".Of course that's different. I agree with Bryanc (I usually do). Why are you libs so obsessed with her? I can only guess she scares you to death. It makes as much sense as Will's obsession with Reagan. The only people being fleeced are those of us who got an education, worked hard to get good paying jobs just so we can have the privlige of paying taxes to support ner-do-wells. However, pretty soon everybody will be getting fleeced if Bambam gets his programs. Remember, when a business gets taxed, you pay the bill. It is passed on in the price of goods and services.Companies don't pay taxes, people do.I guess that is too complicated for you libs to understand.

I think there's interest in Sarah Palin because, even with the bizarreness of this latest move, she remains a viable candidate for the GOP nomination. While most of the pundit class (including conservatives like Karl Rove) are writing her off, I think that makes Palin's hardcore base in the GOP love her more. Which makes her doings worth following, IMHO.

LOL! Writewinger posts daily of his love for Ms. Palin, and it's libz that are obsessed with her. A governor resigns her governorship mid-term? When has that happened before? She resigned because she wants to protect here state? Huh? So, to recap, one of the most powerful people in the country, one of the most powerful women in the country, one of the most powerful Republicans in the country, resigns her post, mid-term, providing a completely incoherent explanation, and bryanc wonders why anyone would care. The fact that such a complete embarrassment was nominated by Republicans to hold the second most powerful position on the planet is purely irrelevant, of course.

Yeah. Gilbert makes a good point. Imagine that. Running for Gov. Running for VP. Putting her family up front and center as part of her campaigning technique. Mud-slinging at other candidate. Who could blame her for whining incessantly and being scrutinized, and quitting on her constituents mid-term?

".....once great nation." Hey, sloboat, why do you and Steve Gilbert hate America so much? And if you don't mind my asking, just exactly when did we cease to become a "great nation?"
