The next rally that I cover
I think it's time to take a break from the Tea Parties and the 9/12 Project (and you maybe you agree.)
This, on the other hand, I can totally get behind. Plus I wouldn't have to wait in a 90-minute line at the New Carrolltown D.C. Metro station.

I agree...the tea bag nonsense is boring. Same old hateful holy hypocrites yapping about god and guns. There is already a church on every corner, they could attend church daily if they choose, but somehow they act like they are oppressed. JonKap- People wanting to keep their money and the government out of their lives. What's wrong with these people? Don't they know the principles this country was founded on?
- Maybe you should write about the Tawana Brawley case?

"If the Repubs return to power, their only concern would be the corporations which fund their campaigns" Yep, Its not like Obama took any money from Wall Street. RG
Maybe lunatic leftist environazis are the real domestic terrorist threat that DHS should be concerned about, not returning war vets. rudytbone

Right Wing Media? Like Newsweek which was sold for $1 so that it could maintain it's "ideological purity" and not be sold to a potential conservative publisher? That "Right Wing Media" rudytbone- The Repuglicans hate being out of power and are willing to lie, cheat, steal, and more to get the little they lost. I don't agree with any type of entitlement - and this is the most dangerous and regrettable. People are waking up to the Glenn Beck, Toomey and Corbett lies.
- SoundGround do you live in Philly? How is the city doing with continued Dems running the ship? It amazes me how people blame everything on repubs, but somehow leave out the dems. skills
SoundGround, so people are waking up to Toomey and Corbett's lies? You might want to check the polls. Toomey has consistently been up 6-9 percent over "No Show Joe" Sestak. Corbett now has his biggest lead in Rasmussen's polls at 13%. Corbett is leading Onorato 50-37. Maybe the people are just realizing the Dems are running the US into the ground. buttermilk67
I guess you didn't see that one of the leading anti-global warming activists changed his tune, batty. Must be tough to watch someone who was so sure that there was no global warming do a complete 180. It will start there, then economists, then maybe Beck. HandNik
A year too late Will. Anxious to hear who you assign blame to for pushing the mentally unstable environmental zealot over the edge yesterday in Maryland. Aren't all crazies ripe for political picking in your small-minded world? tr88
Hm, a joker getting behind another joker. Yeah, you would go. Just like this blog and you, Bunch, Colbert is irrelevant. Well, except to those stupid college kids whose only news sources are the Colbert Report and the Daily Show. Give me a break. Here's something for you...the guy that took hostages at the Discovery Channel HQ yesterday...he's a lefist. An ENVIRONMENTAL MILITANT LEFTIST WACKO!!! Who are the real morons here, Bunch? Could it be you, Philly.com, and the idiots we are voting out in November? This guy worshipped Al Gore for crying out loud. It really is a shame the Tea Party, the 9/12ers, and Glenn Beck's rally don't get more respect. But, I guess it's like SBVFT Contributor said...I'm more for the 11/2 Project. Let's get 'em in November, America!! Refounder- Hey Bunch, I bet you wish you had a line like that for one of your book signings. To bad no one wants to buy it. I hear they are using it for toilet paper in Albania.
OOOh, bill.atkins has learned to say "spew hate" and is so clever to think that "Algore" is whitty. What else has Faux taught you? 165Valley
Comment removed.- "OOOh, bill.atkins has learned to say "spew hate"" Don't mind batty, he's kind of like the resident insult-bot. Like Triumph the Insult Dog without the humor, context, or consciousness. But I waste my time, on to the subject: Colbert is someone I could really thow a pie at! (he'd love it) Hamlet
- "I hear they are using it for toilet paper in Albania." Who wants to bet me CT had to use spell check on Albania? Hamlet
"I guess you didn't see that one of the leading anti-global warming activists changed his tune," Because it didn't happen. Lomborg never said he didn't believe in AGW, just that it wasn't mankinds greatest threat. http://volokh.com/2010/08/31/a-lomborg-about-face-on-warming/ RG

[[==..the guy that took hostages at the Discovery Channel HQ yesterday...he's a lefist. ==]] Right. He's an anti-immigrant "anchor baby" leftist. Too funny. Talking point sleuth
[[== he's kind of like the resident insult-bot. Like Triumph the Insult Dog without the humor, context, or consciousness. ==]] Actually, quite a similar description of bile.atkins as RG gave not long before Obama was elected. Now they agree on almost anything. Funny who Obama derangement syndrome brings together. Talking point sleuth

Posted 09:18 AM, 06/24/2009: --snip-- "What exacty am I missing here?" -- [A question famously posed by bile.atkins, asking why anyone was critical of his hero, Mark Sanford, someone he said he was jealous of]-- RG's response: --snip-- "Common sense, basic decency, integrity, emotional maturity, logical consistency, etc. The list is long, batty. --snip-- So, RG went from saying that bile.atkins lacks basic decency to being bile.atkins lackey. Too funny. Talking point sleuth
"He's an anti-immigrant "anchor baby" leftist." TPS, he cited Al Gore's film as opening his eyes to mankinds destruction of the planet. Its why he targeted Discovery, as he wanted them to focus on global warming. Why do you insist on denying, diminishing, and deflecting the AGW crowd's extremist rhetoric that may have pushed this guy over the edge? RG
Comment removed.
Look at TPS, jumping like a trained seal, dgging up old, completely irrelevant quotes. Jump TPS Jump. Meanwhile, we're still waiting for you to denounce the Discovery madman's behavior. RG
Philly.com also deemed it unimportant to point out that the state capital defaulted on some bonds yesterday. RG
I have to say, it really is VERY touching to see how warmly sloboat feels about bile.atkins. Then again, sloboat absolutely loved Ricard French, someone whose claim to fame was posting graphically detailed homoerotic and scatological fantasies on a public forum. Talking point sleuth
Too funny. I have no problems denouncing the lunatic, RG. See. It really isn't difficult. What's hilarious is that you all are trying to portray him as a "leftist" despite that among other issues, he was extremely angry about illegal immigration and "anchor babies," an issue of great focus for Tea Partiers and other "conservatives." Talking point sleuth
"I have no problems denouncing the lunatic, RG." I tell TPS to jump, he asks how high. RG
"Bill Atk is best thing to ever happen to this blog." Haha...I laughed so hard I almost fell out of my chair. Thanks, Swifty McVeteran for making my day. And I am glad you are back on your meds after your "hiatus" at the "farm". Les Ismore
Actually, RG, it seems that the AGW rhetoric did contribute to pushing him over the edge. And I do denounce AGW rhetoric which is not based in fact and which is used politically for partisan and self-serving purposes. I have denounced Al Gore, for example, as a liar and a blowhard. See. Not difficult at all. Now lets see you denounce the factless rhetoric put out by Tea Partiers and the Republican Politicians that are exploiting fears about illegal immigration - because clearly that rhetoric similarly pushed this lunatic over the edge also. Yeah. Like that will happen. You're hilarious, RG. Talking point sleuth
Colbert and Stewart are the only journalists on TV that will call Regressives out for their lies. I love the way Colbert can get these regressives onto to his show and make them look like the clowns they truly are. Les Ismore
I guess all those comments about you acting like a trained seal have really embittered you, huh RG? Here's the difference, you jump up and down to defend racists and lunatics. I responded to a request to denounce a lunatic. Read back to yesterday's thread where you couldn't understand the difference between someone who writes for a company that advertises with a fraudulent company and someone who works in direct employ of a fraudulent company, making commercials where they urge millions of people to do business with said fraudulent company. Your inability to see vast differences seems to be a pattern. Study up on it and get back to me if you still don't understand. Talking point sleuth
"Here's the difference, you jump up and down to defend racists and lunatics." Proof please. "I responded to a request to denounce a lunatic." So you jumped when told. Good boy. RG
[[== So you jumped when told. ==]] Still bitter about all those trained seal comments, huh RG. Truth hurts, doesn't it? Talking point sleuth
TPS, i think you're confused. I tell you to do something, and you do it. you tell me to do something, and I mock you. Which one's jumping again? RG
I can see it really has stung, RG. I promise I won't do it as much in the future. Well, just as long as you stop defending lunatics and racists, that is. Now jump, RG, and show once again how bitter you are about being treated like a trained seal. But don't take it too hard, RG, it really isn't your faul, you're just addicted to cyber-sardines. Talking point sleuth
Things that make you go hmmmmm....Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin are going to be in Alaska on 9/11 for some big event. They are booked in Anchorage's largest venue (Days Inn?) for some sort of joint speech. If there is a G*D, they will announce they are running for President. Les Ismore
"Well, just as long as you stop defending lunatics and racists, that is" Proof please. Otherwise, I'll have to write it off as another baseless accusation. Like when you accused us of defending copkillers. In the meantime, please dnounce the lefty loons making death threats against someone who psoted an Anti-Obama billboard. http://www.ky3.com/home/video/Billboard-buyer-shares-why-he-brought-Vote-Obama-sign-to-the-Ozarks-101850443.html RG
I'll bet you go hmmmm, Les. A Friend
Colbert and Stewart, the only journalists... Look back a couple years, you'll find Colbert doing ads dressed in a costume. Journalists, lmao. That's like saying the Huffington Post or Daily Kos believe in truth, justice and the American way. junethe4th
To tell the TRUTH, I couldn't be bother to attend any rally.....IT'S ALL THE SAME DOGMA!!!!!! Dadair1
Does anyone know if the Tea Party / Glenn Beck Sarah Palin Revolution plan on pushing forward once Republicans sweep the elections? I'm actually being serious here. pagoda- "I love the way Colbert can get these regressives onto to his show and make them look like the clowns they truly are." He used to do it a lot more than he does now. At first the R's thought he was serious (smart guys, those Republicans) and came on his show like they were going on Fox News. After five years or so they started to catch on. Hamlet
- "Colbert and Stewart, the only journalists... " Actually, I think he was pointing out how sad it is that they seem to be the only talking heads on TV that go (as Bob Somerby puts it) off-script, thereby being the only real journalists, whether intentional or not. Hamlet
bill.atkins, I may misspell a word now and again, but at least I know how to spell Al Gore, and I don't need your "stupid" friends to prompt me. 165Valley- People, I just want to say, you know, can we all get along? Can we get along? Can we stop making it, making it horrible for the older people and the kids? It’s just not right. It’s not right. It’s not, it’s not going to change anything. Please, we can get along here. We all can get along. I mean, we’re all stuck here for a while. Let’s try to work it out. Let’s try to beat it. Let’s try to beat it. Let’s try to work it out bird11
///Does anyone know if the Tea Party / Glenn Beck Sarah Palin Revolution plan on pushing forward once Republicans sweep the elections? I'm actually being serious here. //// That seems to be the question, pagoda. Liberals seem to fail to realize that the tea party is forcing out many GOP-establishment candidates too. Last count about 5 or 6 GOP incumbents have lost their primaries. What's unknown is that if these folks get elected, will they simply return to the GOP of the Bush years, saying one thing and doing another? Or will they work with the White House, as they did in 1994, to balance the budget and reduce the deficit? General Turgidson- "People, I just want to say, you know, can we all get along? " >>>>Hamlet reluctantly puts down his pie... Hamlet
General, i heard about the tragedy at the Brickyard last Sunday, were you there for that? Les Ismore
OMG...not again! http://www.philly.com/philly/news/nation_world/20100902_ap_gulfoilrigexplodesofflacoast.html legatus
Philly.com should pay TPS for the traffic. Many people i know come to this blog just to see him getting beat like a pinata on the comments section. particulary from bill and rg. too funny. bv437
///General, i heard about the tragedy at the Brickyard last Sunday, were you there for that?//// Hey Les. Unfortunately, yes I was. We were watching the practices when it happened. I was up on the viewing hill on turn 9 and the accident happened a little further down the track. Absolute shame the kid died in the accident, and the crowd was somber for most of the rest of the day. I wish people would leave the family alone. General Turgidson
///General, i heard about the tragedy at the Brickyard last Sunday, were you there for that? //// As a side note, Dani Pedrossa looked like he had 150cc more engine than everyone else. At one point he was adding a full second onto his lead with each lap. General Turgidson
I thought I was the Bally Table King. But I just handed my pinball crown to bird11. General Turgidson- General, I have no problem with you seeing or hearing me but please no touching or feeling - bird11 don't play that game. bird11
General, yes it was very sad. I understand he was the up and coming star on that circuit, a champion in his age group. Thankfully, no one showed the video of the accident. That would have been horrific. Les Ismore
"Many people i know come to this blog just to see him getting beat like a pinata on the comments section. particulary from bill and rg." Dude, just what are you smoking? TPS wipes the floor with both of them. Billy Batsh*t Crazy Atkinson is just the house clown here. We love watching his head explode each day with his spittle-strewn comments. I hear he even wears the big shoes and red nose when he is up all night waiting for Will to post something. Les Ismore
That's fine bird. Do you really think I care, what you read or what you wear? We don't know where we're going. But the season's right for knowing. General Turgidson
Abe Foxman, Director of the ADL finally steps away from the Burlington Coat Factory Mosque controversy. Unfortunately it is too late because the wingnuts and teatards have been using the ADL for cover on their hatred. ""The debate surrounding the Ground Zero mosque has surfaced, first, a campaign which is in many places directed against building mosques, and it also has focused attention on the anti-Muslim bigotry that exists in this country. It's not new. It has been there. Part of the landscape, unfortunately, of America is that we're not immune to bigotry, to racism, to anti-Semitism. And part of what's out there is a bigotry to immigrants. Jews experienced it, Irish experienced it. Part of our history is there was opposition to building Catholic churches and Jewish synagogues. Now there's opposition to build mosques, and there is, in our landscape, bigotry. "Some of it is beneath the surface, and some of it in moments of crisis explodes. That's what we're seeing now. There seems to be a legitimacy that it's okay now to speak out and act out against Islam, and that's why this rally, on this very tragic day for Americans, but most tragic for those who lost their families, to use it and abuse it as a platform for bigotry, is not only tragic, it's un-American." Les Ismore
Les Ismore, now Stewart and Colbert are journalists? Really? Seems like you have finally reached the epitome of your stupidity. Ever think that maybe they are comedians who take cheap shots at people? Or the fact that it is really sad that most college kids will take their mindless dribble as gospel, run with it, and consider it news? Guess we know where your IQ level stands... Refounder
Reflounder said, "Ever think that maybe they are comedians who take cheap shots at people?" Kind of like Faux News? Les Ismore- General, I guess I knew right from the start that you and I were worlds apart. bird11
Nevermind bird. Your part is to be, what you'll be. General Turgidson
///Kind of like Faux News? //// Think TPS will complain about a mommy-mommy post here? I doubt it. General Turgidson- General, if I told what it takes to reach the highest high, you'd laugh and say "nothings that simple". But you've been told many times before - Messiahs even pointed to the door - and you didn't have the guts to leave the temple. bird11
Under Richard Nixon we had Bob Hope and Johnny Cash under Barak Obama we have no hope and no cash. fresa63
Hey. Bucky's back. Good. Now maybe he can explain how he could be so confused as to post the following comment. --snip-- Perkovic told you nothing, Will. You should correct this because you lifted it from another writer and another interview. --snip-- General Turgidson Posted 07:23 PM, 08/31/2010 ///\\\ Man, that's almost as bad as when that idiot (since banned from Attytood) named bryanc made a complete fool of himself posting about Will misinterpreting a poll when in fact bryanc showed a basic inability at simple math. Almost as bad, but not quite; not even bucky is as much of an idiot as that bryanc. Right bucky? Too funny. Talking point sleuth- Les Ismore not everything is racist or hatred for immigrants or muslims. I disagree on the building of the mosque not because of the religion but the place it is going. Also I could care less about where a person is from as long as they are legal citizens, why just because you can walk across the border does that make you more important than a person from the far east who can't. People never talk about the cost of illegal immigration, why is that? All I ask is secure our border, why is that so hard for the federal government to do regardless of party. Second I am a Teaparty person and if the repubs gain control of the congress and spend like fools I will picket just like I do now. skills
