Shorter Romney: All Obama voters are moochers who want, like, food and stuff

It's another titanic day for the U.S.S. Romney -- and the worst-run presidential campaign since the job was created exactly 225 years ago today:
There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what…These are people who pay no income tax.
Romney went on: "[M]y job is is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."
Can it get any worse for this guy? Ttue, Obama had an embarrassing video from talking to his super-rish donors released in 2008, and he still won. But I suspect that this time Romney voters will spend the next four years clinging to their guns and their religion.
Please, President Romney, don't go Galt on us! How will the world survive without you, Lloyd Blankfein, Angelo Mozilo, Richard Fuld, etc, etc, etc abendteuer- Romney is questioning that 50% Americans are not meeting their tax obligation.
Time for Romney to show us his tax document and let us judge if he is meeting his obligation. Seed
Romney endorsed a laughable platform policy of giving hundreds of billions (yearly) to the wealthy, taking hundreds of billions in health and anti-poverty benefits from the poor and middle class, and raising the deficit while doing so.
My guess is that he will get the support of folks who consider the term "parasite" appropriate for tens of millions of American working poor, Americans on Medicare, and American children born into poverty. He will also get the vote of religious fundamentalists. Probably won't be enough, though.
The fact that he's behind the incumbent with an economy this bad is truly evidence of what a horrible candidate he is. Talking point sleuth- //The fact that he's behind the incumbent with an economy this bad is truly evidence of what a horrible candidate he is. ///
That's really not saying much for the incumbent, is it? - Your comment perfectly illustrates the problem:
In your (and Obama's) view, not raising taxes constitutes "giving hundreds of billions to the wealthy", as if that money belonged to the government (and by extension, you)in the first place.
Obama uses this distorted view to convince people like you that, therefore, you are a victim and the "wealthy" are "taking hundreds of billions in health and anti-poverty benefits from the poor and middle class", as if you have a right to that money.
If Obama and the left wing fanatics can get 50.1% of the electorate to view themselves this way, they think they'll never lose another election. Until it all comes crashing down in 10 or 20 years, and there's no more hosts to feed on, and we end up like Greece (or the Batman movie).
Good luck with that.

It's like kids who get pissed at their parents for saying "no more allowance, until you tow the line" and then go to school and tell their friends that they have the worst parents in the world. Incredible. We're doomed. A Friend
I think Romney is in big, big trouble -- not a single conservative has shown up to defend up. Maybe they're all out getting food. They're entitled. will- Most republicans are still at work. Somebody has to pay the taxes for the lib freebies. Oh, you didn't know some of us are paying for the others? georgel
- Where do I get some of these freebies? Sign me up. Sounds like just maybe you're no longer digging on your job as a towel-boy at the country club... might be time to join the Great Kenyan-American Socialist Revolution (can't beat 'em, join 'em, right?). By the way, your hero in the pic there sucked but compared to Romney, he's damn-near George Washington.

Unless they cling to their "guns and religion."
//You would have never heard some of the great men of this nation's past talk about Americans with such disdain like this idiot,///
"if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something — there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there."
""They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." - You have to move to the solid, red state South. 8 0f the ten top states with people paying no Federal Income Tax are in the South - Romney's strongest region
ElecFact - States with the highest percentage of people who paid no income tax in '08:
(Spoiler alert, they are pretty much all red...)
39% Tennessee
39% Florida
39% Idaho
39% Louisiana
39% Texas
40% South Carolina
40% Alabama
40% New Mexico
41% Georgia
