MLB throws $1 million in good publicity back on the field

OK, this isn't the biggest crisis facing America or anything, but does anyone else think it's knee-jerk stupidity on the part of Major League Baseball to yank the dad-and-little-girl foul ball video off of YouTube and surely hundreds of blogs and news Web sites across the country? I understand why MLB defends its copyright to the death -- for game action, etc. But this is a Norman Rockwell-eque video showing a family having a great experience at a ballpark -- so of course some braindead executive squishes it like a bug. Do they realize that companies like McDonald's spend millions to invent phony moments like that one?

By the way, I just made up that $1 million figure -- but I hear that making up numbers in the millions is all the rage these days.
