I can't think of anything more dangerous than playing politics with the situation with Israel and Iran's nuclear program. Maybe that's why I'm not a Republican presidential candidate:
Now, Republicans appear eager to use the administration’s wariness of an Israeli strike on Iran to paint Mr. Obama as a reluctant supporter of Israel’s security. Mr. Obama won more than three-quarters of the Jewish vote in 2008, according to exit polls, but Republicans hope that attacks on his support of Israel could both appeal to Jewish voters — a small but important constituency, especially in some swing states, like Florida — and to other voters who are committed to protecting Israel.
I guess it's a classic case of "on one hand, on the other hand." One one hand, a military strike against Iran -- without fully playing out other, less apocalyptic options -- could lead to a wider a conflict that could destablize the entire region (most notably Iraq, finally somewhat stable after considerable lives lost and dollars spent) and cause gazillion-dollar-a-gallon gas that could cause a new recession, among many bad outcomes. On the other hand, a rigid pro war stance is worth a few extra votes in Boca.
Give me a break.
"Give me a break."
You note the possiblity of "gazillion-dollar-a-gallon gas", yet you have not once touched on the fact that gas prices have risen dramatically under the current leadership and is now approaching $4 a gallon.
No, Bunch. Give us a break, you fraud.
Obama lies, gas prices rise. .bp-philly.- And ovens still kill chickens. By gawd, Obama should PAY for that, terrible, TERRIBLE. Really, seriously, you kooks have got nothing. Mr_Cool

"I can't think of anything more dangerous than playing politics with the situation with Israel and Iran's nuclear program." --- How about playing politics with our nations financial future? How about playing politics with healthcare? Obama and the Dems are just as guilty as any Republican when it comes to "playing the game". The biggest difference is the Dems cry foul whenever someone either plays them or beats them at their own game. psyrus

Rev. Franklin Graham, the son of evangelist Billy Graham and a prominent evangelical leader in his own right, waded into contentious waters Tuesday when asked for his views on the religious beliefs of President Obama and the GOP hopefuls.
Graham, the CEO and president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, told a Morning Joe panel he couldn't say for certain that Obama is a Christian.
“You have to ask him. I cannot answer that question for anybody. All I know is I’m a sinner, and that God has forgiven me of my sins," Graham said. "You have to ask every person. He has said he’s a Christian, so I just have to assume that he is.”

But Graham also said he couldn't "categorically" say Obama wasn't a Muslim, in part, because Islam has gotten a "free pass" under Obama. Graham also said the Muslim world sees Obama as a "son of Islam," because the president's father and grandfather were Muslim.

Dow at 13,000 for first time since 2008?
Wasn't that when Bucky and our beloved Attytood Republican toadies were telling us that a temporary drop in the stock market was an indication of how Obama's policies were a failure?
Too freakin' funny.
From September of last year:

From September of last year - when the Dow was at around 11,500
To measure US stock returns, I looked at the total return of the US stock market and used the total return of the Wilshire 5000. I don't want the partial returns of narrower indexes like the DOW 30 or S&P 500. I then looked at the annualized returns under G.W. Bush for the eight years ending January 20, 2009. I did the same for the period since January 20, 2009 for Obama.
The results:
G.W. Bush - negative 3.5 percent annually
Obama - positive 20.1 percent annually
Fact: The US stock market performed better under Obama than G.W. Bush by a staggering 23.6 percentage points a year.

Just goes to show how much those captialist-hating socialist are destroying out country.
I WANT MY COUNTRY BACK1!11!!!!!1!!!

When White House staff sent President Obama a memo asking him to come to a decision on applying pressure on Iran, President Obama voted "present". Mr. Smith

Israel has every right to protect itself. In the case of Iranian leaders explicit threats to destroy the Israeli State, this right extends to first strike, military actions against the nuclear weapons acquisition programs within Iran.
Such actions would not be anti-Muslim,anti-Arab or anti-Persian. They would be, in fact, pro-survival of the legitimate National State of Israel. I will be praying to my Christian God that, that Jewish and Muslim men/women of good faith can resolve this problem peacefully.
