Abracadabra

It's Magic -- the 76ers have been made to disappear for five months. The Sixers could not have defeated Penn and Teller tonight (well, probably not Penn, as as in the University of...). I was actually glad to be at my desk writing a story about swine flu instead of watching this game...how pathetic is that?

I was listening to local sports talk radio this week and they almost sold me on the unthinkable, which is trading (T.) Young and going old with Miller, Iggy (OK, he just seems old) and Brand. I don't know. They need a pro center AND a shooting guard who can shoot. As Spongebob says, good luck with that...

And serious props to Kate Fagan of the Inquirer for calling this in advance.

The reason why these games didn't sell out was because nobody thought they would win the series. I didn't want them to trade Miller at the end of last season but I was wrong. He's old and slow. And Dalembert is a liability every time he is on the floor. The need a 2 guard that can create his own shot.

CHOKING DOGS - I am so happy. That is exactly what Snyder needed. He has driven the Sixers into the ground. Cheeks got a raw deal. Di Leo said after the game "we never had a chance" FIRE HIM NOW!

they are a disgrace. a bunch of overpaid under achievers from top to bottom. dileo should not be a head coach. there isn't one guy on the roster worth keeping. worst of all no other team wants them. even the washington generals don't want dalembert. you can't teach heart and effort. most of the sixers don't have that. stefanski thinks there's talent on the roster with an upside. i'd like to smack him upside his head. he ruined the nets. this is the guy that's supposed to rebuild the sixers????
