Truman LB commits to Richmond

Harry S Truman's Maurice Jackson, a rising senior linebacker, has committed to play at Richmond.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder also had scholarship offers from Bryant, Coastal Carolina, Delaware State, and Lafayette.

"He's a good athlete, moves very well in space," Truman coach Jon Craig said. "And he's a great student of the game. He's always picking new things up."

Jackson recorded 82 tackles, including 45 solos, while helping lead the Tigers to a 7-5 overall record and 4-3 mark in the Suburban One League Continental Conference last season.

Craig said Jackson could end up playing outside linebacker, strong safety, or defensive end at Richmond.
