Drexel Women's Lacrosse Upsets No. 11 Penn, 11-8

Philadelphia, Pa. - The Drexel women's lacrosse team scored their first win over Penn since 1993, upsetting the No. 11 Penn Quakers at Franklin Field, 11-8. The Dragons and Quakers shared 19 shots and nine draws each on Saturday. Drexel held a 5-2 lead at half, and tallied six more points in the final 30 minutes of play to defeat Penn for only the second time in program history. Kelli Joran and Kelly Palace combined for six goals in the win. The Dragons are now 3-0, which marks the best start since 2010.
