Yankees club 5 homers in rout of Red Sox

Stephen Drew doubled during New York's big inning and added a three-run homer in the third. Didi Gregorius later homered for the Yankees.

Masahiro Tanaka pitched into the seventh inning as the Yankees won for the fifth time in six games. New York improved to 7-2 against the Red Sox at Fenway Park this season and 10-5 overall this season against its longtime rivals.

Blue Jays 5, Indians 1 - R.A. Dickey pitched a four-hitter to win his seventh straight decision, Josh Donaldson had three hits and host Toronto beat Cleveland.

Toronto won for the fifth time in six games.

Reds 7, Cubs 4 - Joey Votto hit a three-run homer in the ninth inning that was set up by third baseman Kris Bryant's two-out error, lifting Cincinnati over Chicago at Wrigley Field.

Bryant hit a two-run homer in the eighth that made it 4-all. The rookie has 22 home runs and 84 RBIs this season.

Marlins 7, Braves 3 - Marcell Ozuna hit a two-run homer, Martin Prado and Jeff Mathis each had two RBIs, and Miami beat the reeling Braves in Atlanta to finish a three-game sweep.

Nationals 4, Cardinals 3 - Former Phillie Jonathan earned the save and Washington avoided a series sweep with the win in St. Louis.

The Nationals' Bryce Harper was taken out of the game in the bottom of the fourth inning with tight gluteal muscles.

Harper was 0 for 2 when he was removed.
