Sports in Brief: Speedy Morris to be honored

will be honored by the Eastern College Athletic Conference and Madison Square Garden with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the ECAC/MSG Holiday Festival on Dec. 7.

Morris, who has been at the Prep since 2002, has posted more than 900 career victories. He previously coached the men's and women's programs at La Salle University.

The first game of the ECAC/MSG Holiday Festival at the Garden is Stony Brook vs. La Salle at 11 a.m., followed by St. John's vs. Fordham at 1 p.m.
