George: An awful proposal

Many a sleepless night have I spent wondering how George Clooney proposed to wife Amal.

Badly, Clooney tells People.

He put together an elaborate scenario that totally failed.

He made her dinner, put on his aunt Rosemary Clooney's tune "Why Shouldn't I?," and even managed to get Amal to open a matchbox - ostensibly to light a candle - that contained the ring. "I've got just the ring sitting in there and she pulls it out and she looks at it and she's like, 'It's a ring' - like as if somebody had left it there some other time."

George says Amal had no idea that was supposed to be a proposal. He made eye contact, he made gestures, but still she didn't get it. Eventually, he just got down on one knee.

He said, " 'I couldn't imagine spending the rest of my life without you,' " he explains. "And she kept looking at the ring and she was looking at me and she was like, 'Oh, my God.' "

It's Kanye, not us!

The new Rolling Stone cover bearing Kanye West's divine visage is a fake. It seems Kanye and a pal Photoshopped the cover, which bears the curious line, "Kanye: Does he like mustard?" It has since gone viral, prompting fans to ask where they can get a copy.

You can't, that's the issue, because the issue in question doesn't exist, the mag says.

"While we love Kanye, and have many mustard-related questions for him, this is not an actual cover of Rolling Stone," tweets the mag.
