Police yesterday were still searching for a man who they said sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman Monday afternoon along the Nature Trail at Haverford College.
Police yesterday were still searching for a man who they said sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman Monday afternoon along the Nature Trail at Haverford College.
The attacker, described as a white, 5-foot-8 man in his 40s with glasses and light-colored, grayish hair, approached the woman from behind, told her he had a gun, and ordered her to a secluded wooded area off the trail, said police. The woman, a student at the college, said she lost consciousness during the attack and screamed for help when she awoke. The perpetrator had already fled, police said. Two people walking along the trail found the woman.
The suspect was wearing khaki pants and a long-sleeved blue shirt, police said.
