New Jersey residents may visit the Camden center, 2 Riverside Dr., to receive help in preparing state and federal tax forms. Those who earned less than $42,000 last year can file their taxes electronically for free.

NJCA hopes to draw attention to the Earned Income Tax Credit, a credit of up to $5,789 for workers who earned less than $42,000 in 2008.

Gov. Corzine, who was on hand at the opening, expanded eligibility requirements last year for the state's version of the federal credit. For information or to make an appointment, call 1-888-829-3711. - Adrienne Lu
