Thieves haul away more than four tons of coal

POTTSVILLE, Pa. - Someone stole more than four tons of coal from a coal breaker in northeastern Pennsylvania, state police said. Authorities said they believe the coal was taken between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning from the Saint Nicholas Coal Breaker in Schuylkill County. Police said the thieves made off with four tons of buck wheat coal, a quarter-ton of pea coal, and a quarter-ton of chestnut coal.
