Montco neighborhoods advised to boil water
Residents in parts of Norristown, East Norriton and Plymouth Township should boil their water before drinking after a water main broke early yesterday on DeKalb Pike, Pennsylvania American Water said. The water main was repaired yesterday afternoon about 12 hours after it interrupted service to about 2,300 customers. The boil-water advisory is in effect until late tomorrow while Pennsylvania American Water tests samples to ensure safety, a spokesman said. The affected areas are the Roberts Park and Norris Hill sections of Norristown, the eastern part of East Norriton, and the Black Horse section of Plymouth.
