Fairhill School principal wins national award
A Philadelphia School District principal has won a national award for community collaboration, which will earn his school a $5,000 grant.
Edward Koch, principal of Fairhill School, has received the 2008 MetLife Foundation Ambassadors in Education Award, a recognition by the National Civic League.
The program recognizes the most collaborative public school principals in 25 cities, including Philadelphia. Koch will receive his award at a ceremony at the school.
