City police seek help in finding hit-run vehicle

Philadelphia police are seeking help in finding a dark-colored SUV involved in a hit-and-run accident Wednesday evening in Fishtown in which a 57-year-old man was critically injured.

The vehicle had front-end damage, police said. It was last seen southbound on Frankford Avenue near Columbia Avenue after the man, not identified at the request of his family, was hit about 5:10 p.m.

Anyone with information was being asked to call the Accident Investigation Division at 215-685-3180.
