A 17-year-old has been charged with murder after a Camden dispute left a 50-year-old man dead, according to a statement issued Monday by Camden Police Chief Scott Thomson and county Prosecutor Warren Faulk.

On May 31, the Camden teen allegedly shot Kevin Archie, also of Camden, multiple times outside Archie's home in the 1100 block of North 19th Street, officials said. Archie was treated at Cooper University Hospital and died on June 3, police said.

The teen, whose name was not released because of his age, was arrested at a relative's home in Chester on July 1 by members of the U.S. Marshals Service, police said. He is expected to be transported to Camden County for a detention hearing on Tuesday. - Elisa Lala
