Signs on N.J. roads direct drivers to A.C. train

New Jersey Transit is posting about 20 signs along major Camden County and Burlington County roads to direct drivers to its Cherry Hill train station.

The station, described as a "hidden jewel on the Atlantic City Rail Line," is behind the ShopRite store at the Garden State Pavilion shopping center on Route 70.

At $11 for a round trip, the agency is promoting the train from Cherry Hill as an affordable way to travel to Atlantic City. The station averages 300 weekday boardings, according to NJ Transit.
