Inqlings: This time, a bachelorette says yes

A Miss USA is now living on Rittenhouse Square, and that means the Philly man jilted from The Bachelorette last year is officially off the market.

Kristen Dalton, 23, who won the pageant in 2009 from her native North Carolina, moved in with real estate agent Reid Rosenthal, 31, a few weeks ago. The two had been shuttling bicoastally since November, less than four months after Jillian Harris sent him on a plane home from Hawaii.

Dalton's initial impressions of Rittenhouse Square could be right off the pageant script: "I love how there are families and babies and puppies and it's so cute and so warm."

An engagement is "in the cards," Rosenthal said last week. Dalton agreed, while allowing: "I'm going to be in L.A. a lot, back and forth, for business." She works with Miss Universe.

On Monday (8 p.m., NBC10), as a lead-in to the Miss Universe Pageant, Dalton will compete against nine other former Miss USA and Miss Universe titleholders in a special fund-raising episode of the game show Minute to Win It.

"I didn't know it was going to be so hard," said Dalton, who played for the USO. "It was like boot camp, and we learned to play 20 different games. And I was horrible at them, even though I'm athletic."

Doylestown's Justin Guarini is Broadway-bound. Guarini, 31, the Central Bucks East grad who was runner-up to Kelly Clarkson on the first season of American Idol, starts previews Oct. 2 in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, opposite Brian Stokes Mitchell and Patti LuPone.

"I'm honored and extremely excited to be working with some of Broadway's finest," he told me. "This is an absolute dream come true."

Also headed to Broadway is Wynnewood's Patti LaBelle, joining the musical Fela! on Sept. 14 and remaining through the run in January. The show is about an Afrobeat superstar who defied the Nigerian authorities.

Rocker Tommy Stinson (Guns N' Roses, Soul Asylum, Replacements) popped the question to Philly musician Emily Roberts, mother of their 21/2-year-old daughter, Tallulah, last week at the home of Roberts' aunt, Debbi Calton of WMGK-FM (102.9), during a family get-together. Stinson, who first sought permission from Roberts' father, John, is en route to a GnR tour of Europe.

United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania wants to fill 5,000 backpacks with school supplies for local school kids living in homeless shelters; it delivered 3,500 last year. Tuesday, volunteers at United Way headquarters in Center City will fill the backpacks and pack them into buses - hence the campaign name, Stuff the Bus. A bit late, but note that the Radio/Web team beat the TV/Print team, 7-1, in the annual media softball game at PAL Night at the Phillies on Aug. 11 behind the pitching of former KYW general manager Roy Shapiro and hitting of WIP's Brian Startare, who got two RBIs. Matt O'Donnell of 6ABC pitched for TV/Print, and Kharisma McIlwaine of the CW not only played but also sang "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." The game raised about $30,000 for the Police Athletic League, which runs youth programs in the city.

Five ayem Monday marks the CBS3 debut of Erika von Tiehl, anchoring with Ukee Washington, and she thinks she'll be in Philly a while. California-bred von Tiehl, 30, arrived from Miami two weeks ago with her Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Sophie, and is bunking in a Center City apartment pending settlement on a house. She taped three stories last week, including a chat with Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro Jr.

NBC10's 10! show (11 a.m. weekdays) has gone to the wayback machine to arrange fill-in cohosts to sit with Bill Henley: Love Boat alumna Jill Whelan (Thursday and Friday), former Wired 96.5 morning sidekick G-N Kang (Aug. 30-31), former NBC10 reporter Karen Hepp (Sept. 1-2), singer and former 10! cohost Lauren Hart (Sept. 3), Mount Laurel native-and-turned Orlando anchor Eryka Washington (Sept. 7-8), and former NBC10 reporter/anchor Tiffany McElroy (Sept. 9-10).

Georges Perrier is back from the Loire Valley, where he and his four siblings celebrated the 100th birthday of their mother, Yvonne, in Saint Nizier sous Charlieu, France. She's a retired biologist who was a local health commissioner. The Le Bec-Finner took to the kitchen and dutifully prepared a foie gras terrine per request. The cake was made at the French bakery owned by the father of LBF pastry chef Cedric Barberet.

Metropolis, the hoity design magazine, has named Amis (412 S. 13th St.) one of four Great Good Places in the country for "offering both the basis of community and the celebration of it." Designer Michael Gruber, principal at JAGR: Projects in the Rittenhouse Hotel, also set up Osteria for Amis chef/co-owner Marc Vetri.
