Man slain outside bar in Frankford
A Southwest Philadelphia man was fatally shot early yesterday in a fight outside a Frankford bar. George Williams, 24, was shot multiple times shortly before 2 a.m. outside the Platinum Sports Bar in the 4100 block of Torresdale Avenue, Police Officer Christine O'Brien said.

Police found Williams lying in the street. He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:44 a.m. No information was available about the assailant or the weapon used. - Tom Avril
