A Kennett Square woman was found strangled yesterday in a remote area of a Bush Road dairy farm near Cochranville, Chester County, and her former boyfriend was charged with the homicide, according to Pennsylvania state police.

The parents of Daicy Vasquez-Bedolla, 25, had reported her missing Monday after she failed to return home from work Sunday and they could not reach her.

Mauricio Jose Bedolla-Camacho, 26, of the 1800 block of Ross Fording Road, Cochranville, was arrested yesterday in Orleans Parish, La. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement had been holding him since Wednesday on unrelated charges.

Bedolla-Camacho had worked at the dairy farm where the body was recovered. He is being detained as a fugitive pending extradition to Pennsylvania, police said.
