A bomb threat on Friday morning led to an early dismissal at Harry S Truman High School in Bristol Township, Bucks County, but police dogs found no explosives by the end of their search.

Schools officials, however, reviewed surveillance video and identified students who are suspected of leaving notes in the boys' and girls' bathrooms that warned of a bomb threat. The administrators are working with police to track down those students, police said.

Officers arrived at the school shortly before 9:30 a.m. after the notes were found, police said.

School officials evacuated the high school, and students gathered on the nearby football field. Some sophomores and juniors already had plans to leave early to prepare for their prom on Friday night. The remaining students were dismissed at 11:45 a.m. as police continued their search.
