Philadelphia Book Festival

Barbara Walters appears at the Central Branch of the Free Library, 1901 Vine St., at 5 p.m. Sunday as part of the Philadelphia Book Festival. Admission is free but tickets are required for entry. The festival - Saturday and Sunday, inside and outside the Free Library - will include more than 60 writers and dozens of exhibitor tents, live music and children's entertainment.

Among the highlights Saturday are a storybook character parade at noon and appearances by authors, including Marisa de los Santos (
