Simpatico (McCarter Theatre Center, Princeton). Sam Shepard drama performed by Michael Shannon (Boardwalk Empire) and A Red Orchid Theatre. Through Oct. 15.

Storyboard: Treasure Island (Hedgerow Theatre, Rose Valley). Storyboard rendition of the Stevenson classic, assisted by a local graphic artist. Ends next Sunday.

Which Reminds Me (Act II Playhouse, Ambler). The tireless Tony Braithwaite one-man show based on theater stories, letters from patrons, and much more. Through Oct. 1.
