Wellwood will be available to make his NHL debut Monday night when the Flyers host the Carolina Hurricanes.
Wellwood, 20, has scored three goals and added an assist in 11 games for the Phantoms this season. The native of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, was selected by the Flyers in the sixth round (172d overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
