Casino comps to be posted monthly

The New Jersey Casino Control Commission announced that it would start posting monthly reports of casino promotional allowances and expenses on its Web site, htt://www.njccc.gov/casinos/financia/mthexp.

Such expenses are typically referred to as "comps," and are the freebie hotel rooms, meals and gifts that the casinos often give their most loyal customers.

Prior to this year, the 11 Atlantic City casinos were required to file reports on such expenses on a quarterly basis.    - Suzette Parmley
