US Airways adds West Coast flights

US Airways today said it would operate nonstop flights this summer between Philadelphia International Airport and two West Coast cities, Sacramento, Calif., and Portland, Ore.

US Airways today said it would operate nonstop flights this summer between Philadelphia International Airport and two West Coast cities, Sacramento, Calif., and Portland, Ore.

The airline has flown the Portland route before but not the one to Sacramento. US Airways also said it would have nonstop flights this summer between its Charlotte, N.C., hub and Sacramento and Tuscon, Ariz., All seasonal service normally operates until early September, the airline said.

Shares were down 8 cents to $13.40 in midday trading.
