Saint Joseph's men's basketball program, yesterday, announced its opponents schedule for the 2010-11 season and it includes 11 games on campus, in Hagen Arena.

The Hawks will open at home against Western Kentucky and will then travel to Penn State to take on the Nittany Lions at the Bryce Jordan Center.

In all, the Hawks will face 15 teams that reached postseason play last season.

The University of Minnesota of the Big Ten will be visiting Hawk Hill, as will Siena, the three-time defending MAAC champion that is now coached by former Villanova assistant Mitch Buonaguro. In Atlantic 10 Conference play, the Hawks will meet Duquesne, George Washington, Rhode Island, St. Bonaventure and Xavier in Hagen Arena and will take on rival Temple at the Palestra.

The Hawks will hit the road and visit Charlotte, Dayton, Fordham, Saint Louis, UMass, and Richmond, and will be the road team in a matchup at the Palestra with another Big 5 rival, La Salle.

Saint Joe's will participate in the Philly Hoop Group Classic, playing three games at three sites: at home against Norfolk State, at Fairfield, and at the Palestra against Rutgers.

Other road games include trips to Creighton, Boston University and Holy Cross, and an annual date with Penn at the Palestra.

The complete schedule with dates and times will be announced at a later date.
