Fatal Camden stabbing Bryasia Pitts, 16, of Camden, died from multiple stab wounds after a fight with another woman about 10:30 p.m. Friday outside a party at Kearsarge and Octagon streets in Camden's Fairview neighborhood. Pitts was pronounced dead at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Camden. Body found in massage parlor

A woman was found dead inside an illegal massage parlor in Center City last night, police said.

The woman, found clothed, and described as Asian and in her 30s, was found around 9:30p.m. inside a second-floor room in the building, located at 8th and Sansom streets.

Officials pronounced her dead at 9:58 p.m. Authorities are waiting on results of an autopsy.

Police reported no signs of a struggle.

Man slain in Olney

A man who was shot and killed in Olney yesterday morning has been identified as Irving Santana.

Santana, 18, of Fisher Street near 9th, was found with multiple chest wounds at 6:33 a.m. on Gale Street near B.

He was pronounced dead at Albert Einstein Medical Center at 6:50 a.m., police said.

Fire hits Stawberry Mansion

Three people have been displaced after their home caught on fire in Strawberry Mansion last night, according to a Fire Department official.

The blaze broke out at 8 p.m. in the home on 25th Street between Indiana Avenue and Cambria Street, and was under control 16 minutes later.

Two adults and a child were placed in a temporary shelter. There were no reported injuries.

Shooting deemed 'suspicious'

Police are calling the death of a woman found shot in Wynnefield Heights Saturday afternoon "suspicious." Earlier, police thought the shooting might have been a suicide.

The 21-year-old unidentified woman was found with a chest wound on Ford Road near Daphne about 12:15 p.m., police said.

She was pronounced dead at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Police said the gun was found close to the body, but upon closer inspection by the Medical Examiner's Office concerning the angle of entry, the death was deemed suspicious pending an autopsy.

Homeless man in 20s dies

A homeless man in his 20s who was found unresponsive in LOVE Park early yesterday was subsequently pronounced dead at Hahnemann University Hospital.

The man, who had not been identified, was found about 1 a.m. at the park, at 15th Street and JFK Boulevard.

There was no sign of trauma and the cause of death will await an autopsy.
