W. Chester winner off to Canada

Congratulations to Barbara Plevelich, of West Chester, on winning a trip to Canada, as the grand prize in last week's movie promotion for "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford."

, of West Chester, on winning a trip to Canada, as the grand prize in last week's movie promotion for "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford."

Plevelich and her guest will fly to Edmonton, in Alberta, (where the movie was filmed) and spend two nights at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald. She'll have a rental car for three days and passes to area attractions.

The grand-prize winner of our "Rendition" movie contest is Eileen Kohlhepp, of Holland, Bucks County. She won VIP seating for 10 to an advance screening of the film, which stars Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal and opens this Friday. Five more Daily News readers won passes for two to the film: John Maddox, Dana Savage, Lee Ann Wilkins, Brian Mortorano, all of Philadelphia, and Kurt Pirmann, of Warrington.

This week's contest promotes the horror film "Saw IV," which opens Oct. 26, just in time for Halloween. One grand-prize winner will score the first three "Saw" films on DVD, passes for four to see "Saw IV," and other "Saw" swag.

Fifteen runners-up will win passes for two to the film, and "Saw IV" T-shirts, keychain and other collectibles. To enter the contest go to contests.philly.
