Tattle: Microsoft ads Seinfeld to campaign

HOPING TO become as wealthy as Bill Gates, if he's not there already, Jerry Seinfeld will appear in Microsoft's next Windows advertising campaign.

HOPING TO become as wealthy as

Bill Gates

, if he's not there already,

Jerry Seinfeld

will appear in Microsoft's next Windows advertising campaign.

Perhaps the spot will be a spoof of the classic "Seinfeld" episode in which Jerry, George, Kramer and Elaine battle to see who can become master of his domain . . . name.

Free Sheryl Crow

Sheryl Crow is offering a free download of her politically charged tune "Gasoline" to anyone who logs onto rockthevote.org or anyone on the group's mailing list.

Crow had been charging $4 for a gallon of her "Gasoline."

The first 50,000 people who register three friends to vote will get a free digital copy of her album "Detours."

"I hope people wake up and emotionally engage in issues," Crow said.

Crow's giveaway is a kickoff to Rock the Vote's voter-registration drive, said executive director Heather Smith.

Crow, 46, was one of the founding artists of Rock the Vote 18 years ago. She said "Detours" fits perfectly into the group's cause since the lyrics touch on topics such as adoption, breast cancer, the war in Iraq, the environment and Hurricane Katrina.

Rock the Vote aims to register 2 million young people to vote in November.

To combat that, Muzak the Vote hopes to register 2 million seniors.

Tattle goes Hawaiian

Tattle was a judge Tuesday at Roy's (15th and Sansom) Aloha Kitchen Challenge, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Chef Roy Yamaguchi's restaurant.

Three area chefs teamed with three student chefs to prepare three courses for a packed restaurant to be graded by yours truly, area publicist Peter Breslow, Patrick English from Fleming's steakhouse (555 E. Lancaster Ave., Wayne), Perrier Jouet sommelier Joban Johnson and CBS 3's Pat Ciarrocchi.

The winner by a nose (or maybe a tastebud) was the Glazed Pork Belly with Red Wino Miso Cassoulet and Green Tea Mustard prepared by Ari Weiswasser of Pearl (19th and Chestnut) and student sous chef Damien Valentine, who won a two-month paid internship at Roy's. Other competitors were Chef Michael Galetto, of Cherry Valley Country Club, with sous chef Ching Yeung, who wowed with Lobster Sausage and Chef Ralph Fernandez of Moshulu (401 S. Columbus Blvd.) with sous chef Katelyn Walsh, who prepared a beautiful, five-spice Magret of Squab. And Tattle can no longer eat at the company cafeteria.

* Angie Harmon and husband Jason

Sehorn are expecting their third child, Harmon's publicist confirmed Wednesday. They already have two daughters, Finley, 4, and Avery, 3.

* Matt Damon's wife, Luciana, gave

birth to Gia Zavala Damon Wednesday, his spokeswoman, Jennifer Allen, said. "Everyone is great and she is a healthy, beautiful baby girl," she added. Gia joins sister Isabella, 2, and stepsister Alexa, 10.

* Rocker/child molester Gary Glitter

arrived back in Bangkok yesterday after Hong Kong denied him entry, continuing a two-day odyssey that began with his release from a Vietnamese prison. Thailand's not going to take him either: Allowing a child molester in Bangkok is sort of like allowing an ice-cream lover a free run of Ben & Jerry's.

Glitter's only choice now may be to return home to England, where he doesn't want to go, because that's the only place Thai Airways will fly him.

Lt. Gen. Chatchawal Suksomchit, chief of Thailand's immigration police, said Glitter was denied entry because, under Thai immigration laws, those convicted of child sex abuse in a foreign country can be barred. Man,

you've got to feel for a guy named

Suksomchit. *
