"The Office's" Rainn Wilson is TCM's celebrity "guest programmer" this month, and will discuss his choices with Robert Osborne Oct. 14 as the classic movies channel airs Wilson's lineup: "High School Confidential," "The Gene Krupa Story," "Singin' in the Rain" and "The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T."

NBC has signed "View" refugee and Emmy Award winner Rosie O'Donnell to host a one-hour special. "Rosie's Variety Show" airs Nov. 26, the night before Thanksgiving and if it goes well, expect it to become a regular series.
The live show will include comedy sketches, celeb guests and musical performances. Studio and home audiences will have a chance to win prizes, too.
There will be blood
Good news for mourning "Moonlight" fans - the blood-sucking CBS series' DVD, containing all 16 episodes, will be released Jan. 20, 2009. That should take a bite out of your post-holiday blues. *
