Give the Earth a hug

Take part in the Delaware Valley's longest-running Earth Day celebration, the 15th Annual Children's Earth Day Forest, a walking tour through a faux forest featuring Pennsylvania flora and fauna, created by hundreds of local school children. Take-home crafts, science activities and treasure hunts round out a fun-filled day.

The Walt walk

Visit the Camden sites that inspired 19th-century poet Walt Whitman during the popular "Walt Whitman & His Invincible City" tour. The three-hour guided look at the cityscapes that influenced his work and his life includes the Walt Whitman House, where he used to entertain guests such as Oscar Wilde, Thomas Eakins and others.
