Man critical after Kensington shooting

An unidentified man was in critical condition after being shot in the face late Tuesday afternoon in Kensington, police said.

Shortly before 4:30 p.m., the man was shot inside a property in the 1800 block of East Monmouth Street. Police took him to Temple University Hospital.

Police recovered a gun at the scene but reported no arrest.
