Cupcakes for a cause, in three different skin tones
Adelphia in Deptford is donating half of the proceeds to a local nonprofit group that supports breast cancer patients.
Adelphia restaurant in Deptford is marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month with "Boobie cakes," eye-catching cupcakes made to raise money for a local nonprofit advocacy group.
Baked in vanilla and chocolate flavors, the cakes are frosted in three different skin tones. The fluffy cakes are topped with a layer of fondant that covers light, creamy frosting inside.
Adelphia owners Bill and Evelyn Balis are donating half of the proceeds to the South Jersey Breast Cancer Coalition, which supports legislative efforts and assists breast-cancer patients with costs such as medical bills.
The cakes will be available through October.
