The Sixers held a tryout with a handful of free agents on Tuesday, possibly exploring ways to bolster their depth.

The tryout included veteran swingmen Brandon Rush, Arron Afflalo, Sean Kilpatrick, and Delaware Blue Coats' guard Haywood Highsmith. A team source confirmed the tryout, which was first reported by The Athletic.

Following the workout, a team source said the Sixers are not expected to make any roster moves.

Afflalo last played for the Orlando Magic last season, averaging 3.4 points on 12.9 minutes per game. Since the 2014-15 season, the 33-year-old wing has played for five different teams.

Rush, 33, last played for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2016-17 season, when he averaged 4.2 points in 21.9 minutes per game. He shot nearly 39 percent from three on 2.4 attempts per game that season. He also won a championship as a reserve for the Warriors in 2015.

In nine games with the Chicago Bulls last season, Kilpatrick, 28, averaged 15.4 points in 23.8 minutes per game.

The Sixers have an open roster spot since trading Robert Covington, Dario Saric, Jerryd Bayless and a second-round pick to Minnesota for Jimmy Butler and Justin Patton.
