Soul coach Bret Munsey said last night that the Arena Football League team would sign quarterback Clint Stoerner to a contract today.

Stoerner was waived by the Nashville Kats last month. He threw 54 touchdown passes for the Kats last season.

The Soul's starting quarterback, Tony Graziani, is out at least four weeks after being placed on injured reserve yesterday. Graziani suffered a sprained shoulder Monday.

The Soul also placed defensive lineman Jason Davis on injured reserve with a torn knee ligament and released defensive back Johnnie Harris. Philadelphia signed wideout Scottie Vines.

The Soul (4-2) will play the host Columbus Destroyers Monday at 7:30 p.m.
