Pedro Martinez will be the Phillies' starting pitcher for Game 3 Saturday against the Rockies.

Sunday's Game 4 starter will be announced on Saturday.

Martinez is the only Phillies starter who hasn't pitched yet in this series.

Weather could be a factor, with snow flurries possible Saturday in frigid Colorado. The 37-year-old Martinez didn't sound fazed.

"Maybe I'll be running the bases in a snowmobile," he quipped Thursday.

Has he ever pitched in the snow?

"Coming out of the Dominican [Republic], no," Martinez said. "A lot of rain."

In nine starts with the Phillies, Martinez was 5-1 with a 3.63 ERA. But he hasn't pitched since Sept. 30. He threw just seven innings combined in his last two starts - leaving the Sept. 19 game with a neck strain that forced him to miss his next start.
