HARRISBURG - Righthander Landon Jacobsen pitched one-hit ball for six innings, drove in a run, and won his third consecutive decision last night as the Reading Phillies beat the Harrisburg Senators, 3-2, in the Eastern League.
Jacobsen is the first Reading pitcher to win his first three April decisions since Ken Pumphrey in 2002. He has pitched 16 straight scoreless innings.
Anderson Garcia pitched a scoreless ninth to record his fourth save in four opportunities.
A nine-game hitting streak by Reading's Javon Moran ended.
