Phillies Notes

The Phillies were rained out for the second time in as many days last night. Their game against the New York Mets will be made up as part of a day-night doubleheader June 29.

The Phils and Mets are scheduled to play tonight at Citizens Bank Park. Righthander Freddy Garcia will make his Phillies debut against Mets lefty Tom Glavine, who will be going for his 293d career win.

Fans holding tickets for last night's game can use them for the 1:05 p.m. contest on June 29 or exchange them for another game.

Also yesterday, the Phillies announced that Sunday's rained-out game against Houston would be made up Monday night at 7:05 at Citizens Bank Park. The date had been scheduled as an off day for both clubs.

Phillies and Astros players will wear uniform No. 42 in honor of Jackie Robinson during the game. Sunday was the 60th anniversary of Robinson's debut in the majors. A tribute to Robinson that had been scheduled for Sunday will take place before Monday's makeup game.

Fans holding tickets for the game that was postponed Sunday can use them Monday or exchange them for another game.
