Alexandre Giroux scored the winning goal with six seconds left to lift the Hershey Bears to a 3-2 AHL victory over the Phantoms last night at the Wachovia Spectrum.

The Phantoms finished the season with a 31-41 record, with two overtime losses and six shoot-out defeats.

Darroll Powe and Stefan Ruzicka scored for the Phantoms, while goalie Martin Houle stopped 32 Hershey shots.

The Bears' Maxime Daigneault made 27 saves.

Center Mark Cullen finished as the Phantoms' top scorer this season with 16 goals and 36 assists for 52 points.
