What he has done. Playing for
West Catholic last season, the
fleet tailback carried 301 times
for 1,936 yards and 18 touchdowns. As a sophomore, Williams posted 900-plus yards and 17 TDs. He transferred to Imhotep in March, joining new Panthers coach Albie Crosby, formerly an assistant at West Catholic. The 18-year-old, clocked at 4.4 seconds in the 40-yard dash, has 40-plus Division I-A scholarship offers. His eight finalists are South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Arizona State, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Penn State.
