ARLINGTON, Texas - Allen Barbre exited Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys with a hamstring injury and did not return. Stefen Wisniewski replaced Barbre at left guard.
Barbre has started every game at left guard since the beginning of the 2015 season. Wisniewski was supposed to compete for the starting job this year, but instead became the team's top backup for all three spots on the interior of the offensive line after Barbre had a strong camp and preseason.
Without Barbre, the Eagles were missing two of their original starting offensive linemen. Lane Johnson served the third game of his 10-game suspension, leaving Halapoulivaati Vaitai as the starting right tackle.
The offensive line did not allow a sack last week against Minnesota but let up a sack in the first half to the Cowboys after Wisniewski entered the lineup.
Taylor Hart was inactive, leaving the Eagles with only three active defensive tackles against the NFL's top-ranked rushing offense.
Hart, who was claimed off waivers last week, suffered an ankle injury during practice Thursday and was listed as questionable for the game. He joined starting defensive tackle Bennie Logan on the inactive list. Logan was declared out Friday because of a groin injury. Fletcher Cox, Beau Allen, and Destiny Vaeao were the defensive tackles for the Eagles.
The other inactive players were wide receiver Bryce Treggs, linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill, and offensive linemen Josh Andrews, Dillon Gordon, and Isaac Seumalo.
Cornerback C.J. Smith made his debut for the Eagles. The rookie played his first NFL game since earning a promotion from the practice squad earlier this season. The Eagles also dressed safety Terrence Brooks, giving them an extra defensive back.
Kicker Caleb Sturgis hit a 55-yard field goal at the end of the first half to set a career long. Sturgis' previous long was 54 yards when he was a rookie with Miami in 2013.
Sturgis started the game with a 30-yard field goal. The two made field goals continued a scorching stretch for the Eagles kicker, who made 14 consecutive field goals since missing his first attempt of the season.
