Bryan Antoine, considered the top shooting guard in the freshman class of 2019 by two recruiting websites, announced Tuesday on Twitter that he has given an oral commitment to Villanova.

The 6-foot-4, 170-pound Antoine, of Eatontown, N.J., was rated five stars by both 247Sports.com and Rivals.com. He is ranked 11th overall nationally by 247Sports and 15th by Rivals.

Antoine, who attends the Ranney School in Tinton Falls, N.J., chose the Wildcats over schools such as Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Arizona and Florida.

Evan Daniels, a recruiting analyst for 247Sports, said Antoine is the ninth five-star recruit to commit to Villanova during the Jay Wright era, and the Wildcats' highest-ranked player since Mouphtaou Yarou, who played on the Main Line from 2009 through 2013.

Antoine is the third player to commit to Villanova for the 2019 class, joining power forward Eric Dixon of Abington and shooting guard Justin Moore of Hyattsville, Md.  The Wildcats' 2019 recruiting class is ranked second nationally by 247Sports and third by Rivals.
