ROMAN CATHOLIC High senior wideout William Fuller on Tuesday released a statement, through his coach, Joe McCourt, about where he stands with regard to his oral commitment to Penn State's football program.

It reads …

"At the present time I am remaining committed to Penn State University. There's a lot to process, in such little time, that a sudden change in my decision would be immature on my part. The sanctions handed down by the NCAA were extreme, especially the 4-year bowl ban. To be safe, today I have sent my transcripts to just a handful of schools that have showed great interest in me prior to my verbal commitment to Penn State."

Fuller preferred not to identify the schools where he sent his transcript.
