Man found shot to death in car in Overbrook

A 45-year-old man was found shot to death inside a car in the Overbrook section early Saturday, police said.

Officers responding to a call about a "person with a gun shooting inside a black car" found the man shot once in the head, police said. He was sitting in a black Infiniti in a parking lot at the Haverford Apartments in the 7400 block of Malvern Avenue when he was discovered at 6:27 a.m., police said.

Medical personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene a short time later, police said. His identity was not revealed.

No weapons were found at the scene and no arrests have been made.
