A 47-year-old Philadelphia woman pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide for the deaths of two passengers in a crash last year on the Atlantic City Expressway, the county prosecutor said Wednesday.

Roselyn D. Kornegay, of the 1600 block of Harrison Street in East Frankford, was driving a pickup truck on the expressway in Hamilton Township when she lost control and the truck overturned. James Dennis, 35, and a 4-year-old boy, died as a result. Three other passengers were injured. They were all from Philadelphia. Investigators said Kornegay was intoxicated at the time of the accident.

Kornegay pleaded guilty on Tuesday in Atlantic County Superior Court to two counts of vehicular homicide as part of a deal with prosecutors. She is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 11 and faces two concurrent 10-year prison terms.
